Aims

• To get the group members talking about God




• To begin to discover what God is like




• To understand that God can be known personally

As you move into the second session, participants should be more comfortable with the structure and flow. This will enable them to engage in group-based activities, rather than the individual, personal reflections in session one.

60% of the British population believe in God (according to a MORI poll in 2003). Yet, probe beyond that assertion and you will find a host of different understandings and explanations of who and what God is.

Session two helps participants air some of those thoughts and beliefs. It then goes on to introduce what the Bible has to say about God and gets them to think about how a life lived in relationship with God might be different.
