Aims

• To convince group members something is wrong at the core of our being




• To show that God has dealt with our sinfulness

The concept of ‘sin’ is increasingly uncommon and difficult for people to understand in today’s society. Session four walks participants through the state of our world, the Bible’s explanation of what went wrong in the beginning, how we live our lives and the barriers between humans and God the Father.

The nature of the subject matter may open up some sensitive issues. Robin Gamble’s testimony in the second video clip, as well as the testimony of group leaders can be immensely helpful as participants try to understand sin in their own lives and how this divides them from God.
